Glass Garden Beads held a 6 hr. Module Teaching Class with students from Shattuck - St. Mary's. The group task was to take a concept and create a marketable Bead Kit, from concept to completion. Here are the results. Glass Garden Beads is making the kits available through the website. 50% of the profit from the sales will be donated back to the program. Another module is scheduled for March 28th. The kits include all the elements, directions and a colored picture of the project.

Moon Love Earrings by Alice: The earwires are sterling silver. The drop of the earring is 3". The drop measurement is from the loop top of the earwire to the base of the earring dangle. Length can be adjusted at the chain. The glass hearts are pressed Czech glass, the charms and chain are plated silver.
Dream Earrings by Emma: The earwires are sterling silver, the chain and findings are plated silver. The crystals are Swarovski faceted rounds. The drop of the earrings are 2.5".
Braided Anklet by Lucy: The braid is three colors of waxed cotton with brass and silver plated beads and charms. This is the type of kit that guys and girls love. Fits all ankles or wrists. Just braid and tie. We call this a "Quick and Easy" kit.
Twisted Twin Bracelet by Abby and Victoria: The kit has enough beads for stranding a 8" finished bracelet. The bead caps and findings are silver plated. The bracelet has 5 strands. Two border strands with the 3 inner strands which are braided. The instruction will diagram all the steps. The seed beads used are size 11*.
Advance Beginner Level
The Purple Chevron by Grace: The beads are assorted size 8* and 11* seed beads with size 8* Swarovski Crystal rounds. Plated silver 18 guage wire and plated silver findings and crimp beads are used in the finishing . The stranding uses size 15 soft flex wire with a double strand barrel slide clasp. The bracelet pulls together wire and stranding to make the bracelet the most complex of all the kits.
