Thee Emily Drape is a beading design project inspired by Emily Mjelleli. A right angle bead base with loop drapes. This project was introduced to non-beaders. It is working with size 11*seed beads and the handling of such small beads does take some time to get use to holding if you have not worked with bead stitching. If you want to get just the pattern, beginning beaders may want to use size 8* seed beads which are larger beads and will work. 3 color selections are available in kit form. I like to use a metal bead as an accent, it also helps when doing the right angle weave sections to keep track of where you are. This kit has been promised over a year so I thank everyone for your patience. The directions have been worked and re-worked as we found working with our beaders little tweeks were needed. Let me know what you think once you try this pattern out.
Kits include: Size 10 Beading Needle / 6# Fireline / Seed Beads size 11* / Colored Instructions
I have also added the instructions for doing a pair of earrings with the drape look.
You may want to look at our seed bead mixes if you want to go alacarte'. I have this pattern listed in the directions portion of our website.
